    • ]]>     In mid-February, Microsoft announced that Windows Phone 7 Series (the next version of Windows that powers Microsoft based smartphones) will be released between November and December of this year. Originally, the new operating system had to be released in 2009 but several delays forced Microsoft to release Windows Mobile 6.5 instead. The new o/s will among other things feature a completely new user interface, similar to the one of the Zune HD.
