Asus will soon enter the e-book reader market which so far has been dominated by Sony and Amazon. The Eee-Reader will certainly be the most technologically advanced e-reader because it will:

- open like a traditional book
- have two full colour screens
- include a web browser, a virtual keypad, speakers, webcam and microphone
- support Skype telephony
- be cheaper than Sony’s and Amazon’s readers
