Using Proxy Servers
Monday, October 12th, 2009Have you ever tried to browse a website and you saw a message stating that the website cannot be viewed in your country or region? Or maybe you want to browse the Internet anonymosly (without exposing your real ip address to the webservers)? If that is the case then you need to use a proxy server. A list of proxy severs can be retrieved from www.publicproxyservers.com and afterwards you will need to enter the address of the chosen proxy server in your webbrowser. If you want to avoid doing that, you can install software which can automatically do that for you like ProxyWay which can be used for free. If on the other hand you need extra functionality such as the ability to choose a proxy server from a specific country then you will need to pay for the Pro version of the same software.

Advanced Office Password Recovery
Tuesday, October 6th, 2009This is a program to recover lost or forgotten passwords in files/documents created with the following Microsoft Office applications (all versions): Word, Excel, Access (including user-level passwords and owner info), Project, Money, PowerPoint, Visio, Backup, Schedule+, Mail.
It can also reset the MS Internet Explorer Content Advisor password, and open password-protected VBA projects (created in any application) via a ‘backdoor’. Most passwords are recovered instantly, whereas others can be recovered via ‘brute-force’ and dictionary attacks, so these might take some time.

Nagravision and Intel sign an agreement to launch new media decoder
Friday, October 2nd, 2009Intel and Nagravision hav signed an agreement to produce a new processor targeted at the multimedia market and which will be used in digital receievers with builtin Nagravision encryption.
The new Intel CE chip (CE stands for Consumer Electronics) will incorporate a technology developed by Nagravasion and which is called NOCS (Nagravision On-Chip Security) that enables management of encrypted TV signals (both in SD and HD definition).
Also the new processor will allow the creation of new 3D graphical user interfaces which will give access to various interactive services with incorporated Internet connectivity. Hence these receivers will look more like specialised computers, rather than standard decoders.
Nagravision is used by many providers across Northern America and Europe, so this means that the new chip will in the long run have a very high penetration rate.
The nee chip is scheduled to be released by not later than the first half of 2010.
